9/24/2012 - Day 6

Today the little ones and I headed off to SS's again. I went for a run before class so the girls were in the stroller a bit longer than normal. After class Daisy was anxious to get out of the stroller and get down and play. She crawled around at the park on the cement, in the wood chips and even up the steps on the playground equipment. She had a great time. As you can see from the picture below she was completely wiped out. Also check out her pant legs, Daisy does a crazy little crawl with only her left leg on the ground. 

Can I go out and play?

 Today was the older girls first volleyball game. I was excited to go and watch even though I had to take the little ones with me. I even took my good camera so I could get some action shots for the blog. It is hard to take good action shots when you are having to keep a 10 month old and 2 1/2 yr old happy on bleachers. Needless to say none of them turned out. I did think this one of my dad (Papa) with Daisy was pretty cute. It was nice to have some help at the game.

9/23/2012 - Day 5

Another beautiful afternoon in Kirkland today, back to the backyard deck for some outside fun before nap time. Daisy is starting to do a lot of walking with assistance. It was very cute today to see her walking along with Lillian and the little car.

9/22/2012 - Day 4

Today feels like the first day of fall here in Kirkland. Fortunately the park can be fun even when it is wet, rainy and gray. Lillian would be outside all day long if we let her.

9/21/2012 - Day 3

Today was a very regular day for our family with the exception of taking the little ones out to dinner. We headed out to Outback in Kirkland and we were reminded once again why we generally eat at home. Both girls did great however dinner at home is just more relaxing.

I finally snapped a couple pics this evening as the four of us were just hanging out before bedtime. Daisy loves to pull all the books off the bookshelf. There is no need to spend time organizing them when I clean up because they are sure to be pulled off again first thing in the morning. No complaints here though, it is great to have little kids that are happy to play with themselves and each other. Makes getting meals on the table much easier.

9/20/2012 - Day 2:

Day 2 of my year long goal.

Today the little ones and I headed to Costco for a quick trip. It is so nice that Daisy is now big enough to ride in the cart with Lillian. She has a lot of fun with it and Lillian tends to hang out in the cart more when Daisy is with her.

Lillian had her first real haircut today. She was really excited about going to get her hair cut and did a pretty good job sitting still in the chair (airplane). She got to choose what chair to sit in, one of the choices was a pink car which another mom there was sure Lillian would choose. I had no doubt she was going to get in the airplane. She is all about being active and having fun, not at all a 'girly' type girl.

Quick picture on our back deck just for the fun of it. The weather has been great in Kirkland for the last couple weeks. We can't seem to get enough of hanging outside. Our back deck is a favorite spot for Lillian and Daisy.

9/19/2012 - Day 1

Today is the first day of my new goal - a blog post everyday for one year. Why you ask? To encourage me to take pictures everyday, to keep a journal of our family life and mostly just for the fun of it.

DAY 1:

Lillian, Daisy and I headed out to stroller strides (SS's) this am, just as we do most everyday. I pulled my phone out after class to snap a couple pictures of Lillian.

After SS's today we were supposed to do a craft project making a bug jar. We quickly realized we needed glue for the project so the kids had to take their kits home to do them later. Lillian was really excited to make her bug jar so Paul sat down with her and they put together the bug jar while I made lunch. They had a great time working together.

After lunch Lillian, Daisy and I headed outside for sometime on the swing set. Lillian and Daisy sure have a lot of fun playing together.
